CPD & Recertification
CPD & RECERTIFICATION
VALIDITY
Certificates are typically valid for 3–5 years depending on scheme. Expiry dates appear on the certificate and public registry.
CPD REQUIREMENTS
Certificants must log continuing professional development hours (typically 30–60 hours per cycle). Acceptable activities include training, conferences, professional practice, and scheme-relevant projects.
RECERTIFICATION PROCESS
1. Receive renewal reminder 90 days before expiry
2. Log CPD and experience in the candidate portal
3. Submit ethics declaration and renewal fee
4. Admin competence review — may require reassessment for some schemes
5. On approval, certificate validity is extended and registry updated
FAILURE TO RECERTIFY
Certificates expire and status changes to Expired on the public register. Practising under an expired certificate may violate the Code of Ethics.
